Summer Stock 2011 Season, Kent Trumbull Theater, 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. Auditions will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and next Thursday in the lobby. The first show, “Pinocchio,” will take place in June, and those auditioning should be age 10 to 17. “Miss Beatrix Potter Presents Mr. Peter Rabbit” has roles for age 8 to 17 and will be performed in July. Auditioners for “Footloose” should be age 14 or older and will be performed in July. Singers should prepare a song. Summer acting classes for age 8 to 13 will be offered for a fee of $45. Movie “Precious Peace and the Angel of Life: The Land of Escobar Part 1,SDRq by Method I Inc.com, 4800 Market St., Boardman (upper floor). Auditions will be from noon to 9 p.m. Monday for 12 roles. Be prepared to read from the script, and bring a photo and clothing sizes. 330-259-1279.

Auditions will take place for “The Lion’s Den,SDRq an Internet drama series that will be created by filmmaker Sean Lott of Youngstown, who also wrote the story and will direct. The series will focus on a set of characters in Youngstown, including drug dealers, politicians and police officers. Filming will begin in Youngstown in June. The series will be shown on vimeo.com. “Cinderella,SDRq Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane, Akron. Auditions will be from 5 to 8 p.m. May 22 and 4 to 7 p.m. May 23. Please call and sign up for an audition time. Auditions are by appointment only. Age limit for all roles in 7 to 18. Please prepare 32 bars from one musical-theater song, short one- to two-minute monologue.
