Police look for men who beat, robbed woman on South Side


YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for the two men responsible for beating and robbing a 41-year-old woman outside her South Side home.

According to police, the woman was returning to her Indianola Avenue home just before 10 p.m. Tuesday when she was met by two men she did not recognize. The men began punching the woman, knocking her to the ground and kicking her after she fell.

The men robbed the woman and threatened to shoot her, but she did not see a gun during the attack.

Police said the men took the woman’s car keys, house keys, $200, credit cards and jewelry before running off.
