A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

April 11

Warrant: James McElroy, 43, of 1025 Woodland Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for theft out of Boardman on U.S. Route 224 and Westford.

April 11

Warrant: Anthony Scott, 24, of 2620 Duck Creek Road, N. Jackson, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge in Canfield Mayor’s Court.

April 15

Warrant: Heather Holloway, 40, of 1901 Federal Ave., Alliance, was arrested on a warrant out of Canfield Mayor’s Court for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

April 17

Drug abuse: Michael Brim, 25, of 2205 Union Ave., Minerva, was charged with drug abuse of marijuana on Lisbon Street.

AUSTINTOWN

April 11

Disorderly conduct: Police arrested Brian Reese, 27 of 51 Parnell St., Youngstown, on a charge of disorderly conduct at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A 20-inch by 40-inch window was damaged at a home in the 200 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Theft: A one-ton dolly was stolen at the Lube Stop, 5010 Mahoning Ave.

Vandalism: Decorations were removed and a grave vandalized at Resurrection Cemetery, 300 N. Raccoon Road.

April 12

Theft: A credit card was taken from a vehicle at a home in the 200 block of South Navarre Avenue.

Breaking and entering: A male suspect was apprehended after breaking into a vacant house in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Lost or stolen plate: A dealer license plate was reported lost or stolen at Blue Ribbon Motors, 4004 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A 9mm Springfield was reported stolen at a home in the 200 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: Charles Frohman, 26,of 553 W. Liberty St., Girard, was issued a summons charging theft of $122 in sheets at Wal-mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

April 13

Assault: Two male suspects assaulted another male at O’Donold’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Catalytic converters were taken from several vehicles at ABC Motor Credit, 4508 Mahoning Ave.

April 14

Criminal damaging: A 2003 Chevrolet truck was scratched with an unknown object at a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.

Theft: A Discover credit card was stolen and activated at a home in the 5000 block of West Viola Drive.

Theft: An Ohio license and three credit cards were stolen and a vehicle was scratched at a home in the 50 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: Two males stole a chainsaw at Sears, 6009 Mahoning Ave.

April 15

Recovered property: A debit card was dropped off at the police station.

Criminal trespassing: Amy Thompson, 26, of 119 Cyrus Ave., Hubbard, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing at a home in the 80 block of North Main Street.

Criminal damaging: A woman’s car was damaged by her ex-boyfriend at an apartment in the 4000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Telecommunications harassment: An ex-client was making harassing calls in the 20 block of N. Wickliffe Circle.

Lost dealer plate: An Ontario dealer plate was lost in the state Route 46 and I-80 area.

Fraud: Numerous unauthorized charges were made to an account at an unknown location.

Theft: A stereo was stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Patricia Avenue.

Warrant: Chantal Pepin, 47, 33 DeHoff Drive was arrested on a warrant for obstructing justice.

Warrant: Matthew Reiner, 26, of 5110 Willowcrest Drive was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply with probation at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Theft: Prescription Vicodin was stolen from a home in the 200 block of South Inglewood Avenue.

April 16

Warrant: Chelsea Morris, 22, of 151 S. Beverly Ave. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: George Garland, 34, of 432 Forest Hill Drive was arrested for drug abuse of cocaine and William Blasdell, Jr., 44, of 2906 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug paraphernalia, dangerous drugs, trafficking in cocaine and possession of marijuana. Both were arrested at the EconoLodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Candina Exline, 27, of 4773 Fifth Ave., Liberty, on a domestic violence charge at the Country Inn and Suites, 5570 Interstate Blvd.

Breaking and entering: Forcible entry into an unattached garage was reported at a home in the 1000 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Animal complaint: A summons was issued for a dog running loose, a brown boxer, to Melissa Kline, 42, 400 Idlewood Road.

April 17

Disorderly conduct: Jill Imaurri and Dora Robles, ages and addresses unavailable, were both issued summonses for disorderly conduct at Denny’s, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Eight DVDs were stolen by two suspects at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Justin Giblin, 19, of 4275 Maureen Drive, was issued a summons for theft of a candy bar at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Identity fraud: Identity fraud was reported on Facebook at a home in the 2000 block of Whispering Pines.

Breaking and entering: A shed was broken into in the 900 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: A debit card was used at Wal-mart.

Theft: Sod was stolen from the Austintown Junior Soccer League, 805 Ohltown Road.

Criminal damaging: A rental property was damaged in the 6000 block of Fairview Avenue.

Warrant: John Swistok, 25,of 1394 Hunters Lake, Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear out of Portage County at state Route 46 and I-80.
