WEDNESDAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will feature homemade baked chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. THURSDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will have wing night from 5 to 8 p.m. Wings are six for $2.50.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve the following meals from 3 to 7 p.m.: all-you-can-eat fried fish with french fries or macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; chicken with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; or shrimp with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage. Each meal is $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for those 5 and under. A fish sandwich with fries and coleslaw is $5.50. For carryouts call (330) 654-5630. AMVETS Post 290 Auxiliary will have a bake sale from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the post, 290 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Vienna Center.

Girard Eagles 2172 will have a fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m. at 26 W. Wilson Ave. Meals will include beer battered or baked fish, baked potato or french fries, and coleslaw or macaroni and cheese. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 10. For takeout orders call 330-545-6619.

Guilford Lake Ruritans, state Route 172 at Hanna Drive, will have a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $9. Meals include potato, coleslaw, green beans, bread, ice cream and beverage.

Poland Lodge 766, Route 170, will have a fish fry from 4:30 p.m. until sold out.

St. Nicholas Byzantine Center, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown, will have a family fish fry. Lunch takeouts will begin at 11 a.m., and dine-in service will be from 5 to 7 p.m. To place an order in advance call 330-782-6388. Dinner prices begin at $8.50. Fried cod and baked lemon pepper cod will be available, and there are several side dish choices. This is the final sale of the season.

TAKING ORDERS

Lydia Circle of First United Methodist Church of Girard, 22 N. Market St., Girard, is taking orders through Tuesday for individual-size ham loaves to be picked up from 1 to 4 p.m. May 2. The cost is $2 each. To place an order call 330-545-4361.

Youngstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., is taking orders for stuffed cabbage costing $12 a dozen. Place orders by calling 330-792-5124 before May 6. Patrons may provide their own containers and save a $1.25 container fee. Orders can be picked up at the club between noon and 4 p.m. May 13 or 14.

Bessemer Presbyterian Church, 29 N. Main St., Bessemer, Pa., will serve ham loaf dinners from 5 to 7 p. m. May 14. Meals are $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. First Presbyterian Church, 3654 Main St., Mineral Ridge, will have a pasta dinner from noon to 3 p.m. May 1. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased by calling the church at 330-652-5712 or at the door. Children 5 and under eat free.
