‘School Bus Road-E-O’ will test drivers’ skills

The Northeast “A” Region will have its annual School Bus “Road-E-O” Contest on May 7 at Trumbull Career & Technical Center, 520 Educational Highway.

The Road-E-O will begin at 9 a.m. and last all day. Drivers from Ashtabula, Lake, Mahoning and Trumbull counties will be driving a course designed to test their road knowledge.

They also will take a written exam to test their knowledge of the state laws and parts of a school bus. The top six Northeast “A” drivers will go to Columbus to compete with the top six drivers from other areas of Ohio.

Spectators are encouraged to take their own lunch and lawn chair. Admission is free. No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
