The body of the third occupant of a 14-foot fishing boat that capsized in high waves caused by a wind- storm shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday at Michael J. Kirwin Reservoir at West Branch State Park was recovered about 2 p.m. Monday.
The body of Meshari Alusurhi, 23, of Saudi Arabia and a University of Akron student, was found in 24 feet of water near where the boat capsized about 100 feet from the south shore east of the west boat ramp, according to Major John Wilder, park manager.
Alusurhi and George Raresheid, 46, of Uniontown, died attempting to swim to shore.
A 13-year-old boy, who was not identified by park officials, made it safely to shore and flagged down a passerby who called 911 and summoned others to help look for the men.
The teen was released from Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna after treatment for hypothermia. The temperature of the water was 47 degrees.
