AUCTIONS

Burghill-Vernon Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, state Route 7 at 88, Kinsman, will have a basket auction May 1. Doors open at 1 p.m., and the drawing will be at 3. Admission is $3 and includes a beverage and cupcake. The kitchen will be open.

BOOK SALES

Westminster Presbyterian Church, 119 Stadium Drive, Boardman, will have its 55th annual used book sale from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 27 and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 28 and 29.

CARD, BINGO PARTIES

St. Paul Church, 10143 Main St. (Route 170) New Middletown, will have its annual Spring Fling, sponsored by the Altar Guild, beginning at 2 p.m. May 1 in the church hall. Admission is $5, and there will be refreshments, bingo, cards, door prizes and raffles.

Warren Republican Women’s Club will host a card party from 6:30 to 9 p.m. April 26 at McMenamy’s, 325 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles. The cost is $8 and includes door prizes, table prizes and food. CRAFT SHOWS

Vendors are needed for the 24th Annual Arts & Crafts in the Park, to take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 25 at Centennial Park, East Pershing Street, Salem. Setup is at 7 a.m., rain or shine. A 20-by-20-foot space costs $25. Take your own tables and chairs, or they will be supplied for $35. Tents will be allowed, but no electricity is available. Each vendor is asked to donate one item to the bucket auction. Proceeds will benefit the Memorial Building.

FASHION SHOWS

FUNDRAISERS

Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society will have a fundraising bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Walgreens in Austintown, at the corner of Route 46 and Mahoning Avenue. Baked goods will include Easter items. All proceeds will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Also featured will be hot dogs and T-shirts for sale.

SALES

Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., will have its spring trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4 and May 5, which is bargain-bag day.

Springtime at the Gardens, an annual plant sale and vendors market, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 8 at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland. The event is for the Ohio State University Trumbull County Master Gardeners. Cost for table space under a large tent is $45, but vendors can set up their own canopy or tent for $25. St. Luke School Student Council will have a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 7 at St. Luke School, 5225 South Ave., Boardman. Vendors can rent an 8-foot table for $10 or three tables for $25. For more information call 330-758-2094.

Trinity Lutheran Church, 78 E. Liberty St., Girard, will have a trash and treasure sale in the church basement from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 30. Lunch and a bake sale will be available.

Zion Hill Church, 1455 New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 30.
