Cleanup scheduled for area on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Workers at the Dandridge Nursing Home on the city’s East Side will clean up around their facility and are encouraging their neighbors to do the same.

The nursing home is located at 31 Maranatha Drive. Ten workers and four people from the community will start the clean-up on Maranatha and Rutledge drives at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, weather permitting. The rain date is Thursday at the same time.

The area isn’t large, but is heavily littered, said David Tikkanen, Dandridge’s administrator.
