Julia’s Bed & Breakfast, 6219 West Liberty St., Hubbard, was a recent recipient of AAA’s Four Diamond Award for lodging establishments. It was the sixth-straight year it received the notation. The award is based on cleanliness, comfort and customer service, all judged during an unannounced visit from AAA inspectors.

Lela Balista, owner of Balista & Associates LLC, a tax-preparation service in Kent, will appear in the Presidential Who’s Who Among Business and Professional Achievers 2011 Edition. Balista is a 1960 Champion High School graduate. The list will be registered in the Library of Congress in Washington.

The Home Savings and Loan Co., a subsidiary of Youngstown-based United Community Financial Corp., was recently presented the Cintas Document Management Sustainability Award by Cintas Corp. The award was given for Home Savings’ commitment to the environment. The company has saved more than 909 trees, 4,500 gallons of oil, 374,215 gallons of water, and 160 cubic yards of landfill while reducing greenhouse-gas emissions, Cintas said.
