Brickleys mark 60th anniversary with their family

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brickley of Boardman marked their 60th wedding anniversary during a celebration April 1 at Vernon’s Cafe in Niles with 30 children and grandchildren.

Their son David Brickley was the host. The celebration continued at their church, Westminster Presbyterian, where the couple were being honored today.

The couple’s children are David Brickley, and Julie (Russell) DiSibio of Boardman, Robert (Lisa) Brickley of Gainesville, Ga., and Ann (David) Booth of Youngstown.

The Brickleys also have 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brickley retired in 1984. Mr. Brickley retired in 1990 as a master mechanic for Conrail in Boardman. He is a Mason and has served in the United States Naval Reserve.

On April 14, 1951, Kenneth Brickley and the former Gretchen Carter were married at the Presbyterian Church in Huntington, Ind.
