Auto theft: Ohio State Highway Patrol arrested a man on a charge of auto theft at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A copper waterline was taken from a vacant home in the 100 block of South Main Street.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at Home Savings and Loan, 2320 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Cash was reported stolen at a home in the 200 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Theft: Household appliances from a rental house were stolen in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Theft/property recovery: A wallet was taken and later recovered at Economy Inn, 1051 N. Niles-Canfield Road. Money and credit cards were taken.

March 17

Assault: A man and woman were involved in an assault at Buy the Beach Tanning, 5521 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Harassment was reported by the owner of a home in the 400 block of Southward Drive.

Theft: $45 in fuel was taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: Thomas Wilson, 24, of 2189 Woodgate St., was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 400 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Drug offense: Police charged Jonnie Winslow, 23, of 321 Atlanta St. NW., Warren, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A GPS was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.

Identity theft: Information was stolen and used to obtain a credit card at home in the 1000 block of Wood-ledge Drive.

Burglary: A laptop computer was stolen at an apartment in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Attempted burglary: A door and deadbolt lock were damaged at an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Recovered property: An Ohio license was recovered in the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A black case with credit cards and an Ohio license was recovered at the Austintown Plaza.

Theft: A debit card was stolen from a home in the 200 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Theft: An HTC Smartphone was stolen at Casal Aveda, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Brittany Reid, 23, of 1182 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Liberty, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: $40.61 in fuel was taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched and dented while parked at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A patron had a party that cost $179.33 and didn’t pay at The Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Paul Cayavec, 51, of 1469 Tripodi Circle, Niles, for allegedly taking a candy bar and coffee from Sheetz, 5458 Mahoning Ave.

March 20

Assault: Police charged Christina Gonzalez, 27, of 147 Cortland Ave., Campbell, with an assault that occurred at Club Gossip, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Timothy Rollison, 23, of 4150 Pembrook Road, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Michael Hutch, 22, of 1 Jonathan Lane, Austintown, on a charge of disorderly conduct at Denny’s, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Police charged Jayne M. Kalentis, 48, of 4833 Westchester Drive, with disorderly conduct at Bill’s Place.

Warrant: Police arrested Jessica Price, 28, no address listed, on a warrant alleging she received stolen property.

Warrant: Police arrested Thomas McGuire, 40, of 5565 Madrid Drive on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Menacing: Threats being made by phone were reported at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Possible forgery: A resident of the 4000 block of Westchester Drive reported his ex-wife cashed his Social Security checks.

Warrant: Steve Delvo Jr., 22, of 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging menacing.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.

Theft: Sean Buckner, 25, of 494 Westgate Blvd. was arrested and charged with theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Medication was taken from an auto at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: The front door to the chapel at the 911 Memorial Park, 1055 S. Raccoon Road was damaged.

Theft: A pair of shoes was stolen at Frank Ohl Middle School, 255 Idaho Road.

Warrant: John Wymer, 37, of 866 Palmer Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a driving under suspension charge.

Drug offense: Matthew Slate, 25 of 69 Forest Glen, Boardman, was arrested for possession of marijuana at state Route 46 and Silica Road.

Theft: $55.97 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: Nails were placed on a driveway at a home in the 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.

Theft: Two dealer plates were stolen from vehicles at an undetermined location.

Aggravated menacing: A male is a suspect in aggravated menacing at a home in the 300 block of S. Edgehill Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman is accused of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 300 block of Westchester Drive.

April 2

Telecommunications harassment: A female reported being harassed by a male at a home in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.

Burglary: The front door was kicked in an two flat-panel televisions and an Apple laptop were taken at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

April 3

Warrant: Michael Yount, 28, of 260 Tremble Ave., Campbell, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Warrant: Timothy Vinion, 34, of 245 N. Yorkshire Blvd. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Fraud: $430 was withdrawn from an ATM at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

April 4

Theft: Police charged James Centafanti, 31, of 54 Lexington Place, with theft and possession of criminal tools, and Dave Dorbish, 35, of 3410 S. Westview Ave., with theft for reportedly taking scrap metal from the Baseball Club House, 5706 Vassar Ave.

Breaking and entering: Money was taken during a break-in at The Bambo Garden, 5468 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Lottery tickets were stolen at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at Starbucks, 851 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 4000 block of North Warwick Drive.

Theft: Someone pumped $48.01 worth of gas and left without paying at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Auto theft: A white Buick was stolen at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave., and later recovered by Youngstown police after it had been burned.

April 5

Breaking and entering: An undetermined amount of money was taken at Salsitas, 5495 Clarkins Drive, after entry was gained through a broken window.

Theft: A tenant took appliances from a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Burglary: A lockbox with $218 in miscellaneous change was reported missing at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into at a home in the 100 block of North Turner Road.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto at Best Western, 870 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: A Garmin GPS was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 800 block of North Raccoon Road.

April 6

Criminal damaging: A drive-through sign was damaged at Dunkin Donuts, 1123 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 6000 block of Herons Circle.

Theft: Police charged John Jewelli, 51, of 60 S. Glenellen Ave., Youngstown, with theft of grocery items and disorderly conduct at Aldi’s, 5863 Mahoning Ave.

April 7

Breaking and entering: A front window was smashed out at Salsita’s, but nothing was taken.

Breaking and entering: Money was taken at Arthur Treacher’s, 4451 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A total of $940 was taken at Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: A laptop was taken at Harbor Freight, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: A woman’s debit card was compromised at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Ricky Raymond, 24, of 1101 Chadwick Lane, on warrants for failure to appear for possession of criminal tools and unlawful removal and also for disorderly conduct.

Menacing by staking: A female reported being harassed by another female at Kentucky Fried Chicken, 4642 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman stole her mother’s television and checks from a home in the 3000 block of Timberlane.

April 8

Telecommunications harassment: An unidentified male caller made harassing calls to Sunkiss Tanning, 1397 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

April 9

Drug offense: Police charged David Hospodor, 32, of 15 E. Prospect St., Girard, with possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse of marijuana after his arrest in the township.

Domestic violence: Police charged Paul Sammartino, 40, of 4344 Pembrook Road, with the crime at his home.

Breaking and entering: A string and hedge trimmer was taken at a home in the 1000 block of South Clearwater Cove.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen at a home in the 100 block of Wilcox Road.

Criminal damaging: Fifty feet of lawn was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.

Telecommunications harassment: A male was threatening a female through unwanted text messages and telephone calls at a home in the 500 block of South Turner Road.

Theft: A chain saw was stolen at Sears Hardware, 6009 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman was harassing a male at a home in the 5000 block of Colgate Avenue.

Recovered property: A brown leather wallet was recovered at the Wedgewood Plaza parking lot, 1747 S. Raccoon Road.
