Reservations are required before April 22. This is the 19th high tea the Austintown Historical Society has sponsored, and all proceeds go to the society.

Austintown’s National Historic Landmark, The Strock Stone House, 7171 Mahoning Ave., will open its doors May 1 for its Spring High Tea.

Reservations are required and must be made before Friday. Seatings are available at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Free tours of the Strock Stone House will follow each seating.

The cost is $14 per person, and $7 for children under 12.

The menu consists of coffees and various teas, finger sandwiches, scones, pastries and extras that are customarily served at a traditional high tea.

Bone china cups, saucers and dessert plates will complement the lace tablecloths.

A basket raffle will be a feature of the day, and the cost is $1 per ticket, five for $3, and 15 for $5. The winner does not have to be present.
