FASHION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, New York City

Victoria E. Volpe of Baden, Pa., a graduate of Quigley Catholic High School and a sophomore at Youngstown State University, has been accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology for the Visiting Student Program in Fashion Merchandising Management. She will take courses at FIT to complement her studies at YSU. Upon completion of her degree requirements at YSU, she will receive a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences from YSU and an associate of applied sciences from FIT.

NATIONAL COLLEGE, Liberty

National College, 3487 Belmont Ave., is hosting an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. National College offers career fairs, giving local businesses a first look at some of the brightest students, and an externship program, providing access to a pool of qualified, prescreened National students. Tours of the campus will be offered at the open house. Classes start May 31.
