Youngstown police looking for woman involved in assault

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for a small white female with blonde hair between 25 and 35 years and under 150 pounds driving a red car who may be responsible for slight injuries to a man at a South Side gas station.

According to police reports, the man was at a gas station in the 500 block of Midlothian at about 1 p.m. Thursday when he was struck in the neck and left side of his face by the hose from a gas pump. He told police the woman left the hose in her gas tank and was driving off when it flew out and hit him in the face.

The man did get a name and number from the woman, but the number was fake. He did not get her license-plate number.
