Power restored at YSU

YOUNGSTOWN — Power was restored at Youngstown State University late this afternoon after an animal on a power line wiped out electricity to the campus as well as St. Elizabeth Health Center.

The hospital used a generator for power.

YSU canceled activities on campus tonight except for the opera performance in Bliss Hall.

Normal operations of the university, including all activities, will resume as scheduled Saturday.
