Power outage causes cancellation of YSU classes
YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University classes are canceled for the rest of the day because of a power outage across campus and other parts of the city.
Jack Fahey, interim vice president for student affairs, said people who were stuck in elevators in the M1 parking deck and at Cushwa Hall were rescued quickly.
“That’s the first thing that happens,” he said. No one was injured.
Activities planned for today also were canceled, including a Relay for Life event and a coaches' football clinic.
