mahoning county

Austintown: Dairy Queen, 145 Canfield-Niles Road, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Visit the Easter bunny, live bunny display. Bring your camera. Free candy-filled eggs; color eggs the DQ way.

Austintown: Country Inn & Suites, 5570 Interstate Blvd., Easter egg hunt 2 p.m. Saturday for birth to 11 years old. Refreshments, snacks and prizes.

Boardman: Bridge of Hope, 7580 Glenwood Ave., indoor egg hunt Saturday for ages 2 to fourth grade. Registration and games begin at 11:30 a.m., giveaways at 12:30 p.m. and hunt begins at 1 p.m. Easter grass room for those with asthma.

Boardman: Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, will have Easter in an Eggshell event from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday. This event is open to the whole family. Experience the story of Easter, crafts, singing and an egg hunt.

Campbell: Egg hunt at Roosevelt Park, 1 p.m. Saturday, ages 2 to 10. Sponsored by East Suburban Optimist Club of Youngstown. Easter Bunny will make a special appearance. This event is for residents of Lincoln Knolls, Campbell, Coitsville and Lowellville.

Canfield: Come and join us for an egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Free Methodist Church, 3999 McCarty Drive. Prizes, activities and fun.

Lowellville: High Pointe Church, 5716 Struthers Road, 11 a.m. Saturday. Egg hunt for preschool through sixth grade.

Youngstown: Egg Hunt, Community Fellowship Church Of God, 4125 Lanterman Road, noon to 2 p.m. Saturday for ages 3 to 12. Rain date, April 23.

Youngstown: Wick Park Neighborhood Association with the support of Councilman Jamael Tito Brown, D-3rd, and Councilwoman Annie Gillam, D-1st, is hosting an egg hunt in Wick Park on Youngstown’s North Side for children ages 1 through 12 on Saturday. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the hunt begins at noon. Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult and upon arrival should go to the Wick Park Pavilion to sign in. There will be prizes, games, coloring contest, crafts and a scavenger hunt. The Easter bunny will attend and it will take place rain or shine.

trumbull county

Howland: Home Savings will host an egg hunt from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at its Howland office, 4625 N. River Road. The bank will provide prizes and refreshments.

Hubbard: The Easter Bunny will visit Tylee Park in downtown Hubbard, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The bunny will have treats for all the children who visit. The event is sponsored by the Tylee Park Restoration Committee and the Hubbard Historical Society.

Mineral Ridge: Briarfield at the Ridge, 3379 Main St., will sponsor a community egg hunt from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. It will be hosted by the Easter Bunny and Sara Warner & Friends Country Band will perform from 2 to 3 p.m. There will also be clowns, face painting and more.

Niles: There will be a free Community Easter Extravaganza from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of Pleasant Valley Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Road. It will be open to all ages and all people, featuring a 20,000 egg hunt. There will also be free food, live music, balloons, inflatables, prize giveaways, pictures with the Easter Bunny, a community tent with information on local businesses and ministries, games, activities, and more.

Warren: Second annual Downtown Warren brunch with the Easter Bunny, Bunny Hop and Easter Eggstravaganza will be Saturday. The brunch will be at 11:15 a.m. at Piazza Italia. Seating is limited and reservations are suggested 330-847-7777. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. The Bunny hop is from noon to 3 p.m. where merchants will pass out candy and treats. There will also be face painting, children’s activities, arts and crafts and complimentary pictures with the Easter Bunny. This will culminated with the giant egg hunt on Courthouse Square divided by age groups at 1 and 1:30 p.m. Registration will take place outside The Comfort Inn beginning at 11:30 a.m. Suggested donation for Bunny Hop and Easter egg hunt is $3 per child.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

East Palestine: Annual egg hunt, City Park, 11:30 a.m. Saturday, in four age groups: preschool, kindergarten and first grade, second and third grade and fourth and fifth grade.

Mercer County

Hermitage: Shenango Valley egg hunt at noon Saturday, rain or shine, for age 1 through 12. Children should arrive early. Special prizes for each age group. The Easter Bunny will be there. Sponsored by Daffin’s Candies and Penn State Shenango’s Criminal Justice Club.
