Monday is deadline for Pa. residents to register for May 17 primary


MERCER, Pa. — Monday is the deadline for Pennsylvania residents to register to vote or change their voter registration for Pennsylvania’s May 17 primary.

Applications must be in the Mercer County election office at the courthouse by the close of business that day or must have a postmark with no later than Monday’s date on it if sent by mail.

Applications can be downloaded at www.votespa.com or can be picked up at the election office. Call 724-662-7542 for more information.

Mercer County is seeking high school students at least 17 who are interested in volunteering as poll workers for the primary. School administrators or government teachers who have students who want to participate should contact Director of Elections Jeff Greenburg at 724-662-7542 or jgreenburg@mcc.co.mercer.pa.us.

Only one representative should submit a list on behalf of a school district.
