Fatal crash probed

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a Monday afternoon accident that resulted in the death of a 55-year-old woman.
According to patrol reports, Darla Schumacher, of Detwiler Road, was killed at 5:03 p.m. when the car she was driving crashed head-on with a car driven by Raechel Ann Zorger, 25, of Canfield. The accident took place on Detwiler just south of Western Reserve Road in Beaver Township.
Zorger was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with no life-threatening injuries.

Daffodil Show
YOUNGSTOWN
Fellows Riverside Gardens’ Daffodil Show takes place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. This show, presented by Mill Creek MetroParks, is one of more than 40 shows this spring throughout the United States associated with the American Daffodil Society. Entries from the general public will be accepted until 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by judging and then open for viewing. Fellows Riverside Gardens is an American Daffodil Society Display Garden.
Relay fundraiser

Relay For Life of Poland will have a fundraiser from noon to 10 p.m. April 21 at TGI Friday’s, 7165 Tiffany Blvd., Boardman. Patrons who bring in a voucher will have 20 percent of their bill donated to the American Cancer Society.
