‘Autism Puzzle’ airing on WFMJ

21 WFMJ-TV is joining other NBC affiliates in Ohio to raise awareness about autism with “The Autism Puzzle,” a program dealing with the disorder. The one-hour show will air at 7 tonight. An Autism Awareness rally will be at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus today. “The Autism Puzzle” focuses on research, treatments and the needs of patients. It also will look at job opportunities; a high school student with Asperger’s who is signing a college letter-of-intent to run track; and a study that examines differences in symptoms in boys and girls.

Auditions for series

YOUNGSTOWN

Auditions will occur for “The Lion’s Den,” an Internet drama series that will be created by filmmaker Sean Lott of Youngstown, who also wrote the story and will direct. The series will focus on a set of characters, including drug dealers, politicians and police officers. Filming will begin in Youngstown in June. The series will be shown on vimeo.com. Orchestra concert

ALLIANCE

The Alliance Symphony Orchestra and the University of Mount Union will present a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Alliance High School Auditorium. The concert will feature solo performances by the 2010 Solo con Tutti Concerto and Aria Competition winners. Tickets are $10 ($8 for seniors).
