Candidates for mayor’s office to be featured at open forum

WARREN
The A. Philip Randolph Institute and the League of Women Voters of Trumbull County will sponsor a candidates forum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Warren G. Harding High School, 860 Elm Road NE.
The candidates to be interviewed are Doug Franklin and Jim Graham, who are seeking the office of the mayor of Warren.
Peggy Sinkovich from WKBN/Fox Television will serve as moderator for the event. Serving on the panel will be Bertram de Souza, editorial writer/columnist for The Vindicator; Guy Coviello, managing editor for The Tribune Chronicle, and Dr. John Robertson, community member.
The panel will pose their own questions to the candidates as well as questions submitted from members of the audience.
The rules and format for the forum will follow league guidelines.
Doors for the free event will open at 5:30 p.m.
