Head-on crash kills woman near her home

NORTH LIMA

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a Monday afternoon accident that resulted in the death of a 55-year-old woman.

According to patrol reports, Darla Schumacher, of Detwiler Road, was killed at 5:03 p.m. when the car she was driving crashed head-on with a car driven by Raechel Ann Zorger, 25, of Canfield.

The accident took place on Detwiler just south of Western Reserve Road in Beaver Township.

Zorger was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
