Musical celebration planned

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Section of the National Council of Negro Women will sponsor its 32nd annual Spring Musicale at 4 p.m. Sunday at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 920 Dryden St. Following the musical celebration refreshments will be served.

Mary McLeod Bethune founded the National Council of Negro Women in 1935, and the Youngstown Section was established in 1976.

The nonprofit organization seeks to fill in the gaps that exist in society, particularly in meeting the concerns of minority women.
