Mr., Mrs, Slovasky mark 60th jubilee at dinner party

GIRARD

Mr. and Mrs. John Slovasky of Girard are celebrating their 60th anniversary with family and friends during a dinner party at Caf 422 in Warren.

Invitations for the event were issued by the couple’s children, Stephen Slovasky of Hartford, Conn.; Eleanor (Dominic) Rosselli of Poland; and Maribeth (Derrick) Lovelace of Bainbridge Island, Wash. Completing the family circle are five grandchildren.

The former Theresa Ezzo and Mr. Slovasky were united in marriage in 1951 at St. Rose Church, where they are members. Mrs. Slovasky did secretarial work in the Youngstown area prior to retiring.

Mr Slovasky served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He also is retired after working as a wallpaper hanger and at U.S. Steel, McDonald Works.
