Beaver Twp. seeking patrons for bicentennial book

Beaver Township 200th Anniversary Committee is accepting applications from individuals and families who want to be included on the patron page of the township’s bicentennial book. The cost is $5.

The committee is looking for businesses, groups, civic organizations and churches to participate in a bicentennial service July 30 at Memorial Park at the intersection of state Routes 164 and 165.

The groups may set up free informational displays from 1 to 7:30 p.m. July 30, said Scott Conway, township park administrator.
