Powerball ticket worth $218M sold in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A Powerball ticket worth $218 million was sold at a Circle K convenience store in the southern Indiana city of Clarksville.

Hoosier Lottery spokeswoman Megan Wright says the lottery confirmed the sale this morning with the store.

Jane Clinard manages the store near Interstate 65 in the city across the Ohio River from Louisville, Ky. She tells The Associated Press that she’s “very excited” that her store sold the winning ticket. She says she has a lot of regulars who visit the store and she hopes one of them is the winner.

The winning ticket matched all six of the Powerball numbers drawn Wednesday night. Those numbers were 10, 18, 41, 55, 56 and the Powerball, 15.
