Library will offer program on Medicare


BRISTOLVILLE

Bristol Public Library, 1855 Greenville Road, will offer the class “Getting Started With Medicare” from 1 to 3 p.m. April 18.

The class offers those approaching retirement or going on Medicare a chance to understand how Medicare works.

Presented by Laura Mutsko, a Medicare supplement accredited adviser and a certified senior adviser through the Society of Senior Advisers, the class offers fundamental information about what Medicare Parts A, B, C. and D cover. Also provided will be information on the difference between the original Medicare Plan and a Medicare Advantage Plan, as well as changes in Medicare for 2011.
