Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, will have takeout dinners of baked stuffed chicken breast from 3:30 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $6. No need to preorder or get out of the car.

Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will sell takeout dinners of stuffed chicken breast from 4 p.m. until sold out. No reservations needed. Drive through and pick up a dinner.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve the following meals from 3 to 7 p.m. each Friday: all-you-can-eat fried fish or shrimp. St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (formerly St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church), 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will sponsor fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. each Friday during Lent except Good Friday (until April 15). The cost is $8.75 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $4 for children 6 to 12, and free for those under 6. Takeout service will be from 3 to 7 p.m.

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will serve Swiss steak dinners from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $4 for children at the door. Carryouts will be available.

Calvary Baptist Church, 1463 Shields Road, Boardman, will serve dinners of angel hair pasta, meatballs, salad, dessert and beverage from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday for $6 for adults, $3 for those 4 to 12 and free for children 3 and under. Historic Lutheran Church of St. John, 1429 Mahoning Ave., next to Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, will be the setting for a Palm Sunday all-you-can-eat brunch buffet at noon April 17. The buffet of Italian cheese strata, sausage strata, scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns, Danish rolls, fruit, juice and beverages, and a bake sale will be sponsored by the Ladies Altar Guild.
