YSU men’s golf 6th at Wildcat Inv.

The YSU men’s golf team placed sixth out of 20 teams at the Wildcats Invitational Sunday and Monday at the White Manor Country Club. YSU carded a two-round total of 612 at the 36-hole event.

YSU had rounds of 309 and 303. The event was won by Delaware with a score of 579.

Leading the way for the Penguins were Spenser Sulzener and Anthony Conn, who both shot 149 to tie for 13th place. Sulzener had rounds of 77 and 72 while Conn had a 78 and 71.

Other finishers were Michael Lower who was 35th with a 153 (74-79), Joe Santisi who placed 81st with a 165 (80-85) and Mark Olbrych was 84th with a 166 (85-81).
