McBride open house, library’s will coincide

HUBBARD

Hubbard Historical Society’s McBride House, 27 Hager St., will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in conjunction with the Hubbard Public Library Open House. The theme is “Create your own story at your library.”

The McBride House will offer material free of charge to get participants started in compiling their own family history.

A walk through the McBride House may reveal a few heirlooms or ancestors.

The society would also like to scan residents’ old photos, get descriptions of the photos for its archives and possibly use them in a publication. They would not be published without permission.

Call Debbie Shields at 330-534-9533 or e-mail tyleepark@att.net for more information.
