AUCTIONS

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will have a basket auction Sunday. Doors open at 10 a.m., and the auction begins at 12:30 p.m. Early bird prizes are drawn every 15 minutes, beginning at 12:30. Admission of $5 includes 20 tickets, a free bowl of haluski and a piece of cake. Extra tickets will be sold, and the kitchen will be open.

CARD, BINGO PARTIES

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald, will have a bingo and card party at 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5. There will be a money raffle, 50-50 drawing, basket auction and door prizes. A sack lunch will be available.

St. James Altar and Rosary Society will sponsor a card and bingo party at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the school auditorium, 2016 Arbor St. SE, Warren. There will be a 50-50 raffle, door and table prizes, and lunch. The donation is $5 at the door.

St. Nicholas Church, 664 Fifth St., Struthers, will have a card and bingo party, basket auction and 50-50 drawing at the Great Hall on Tuesday. Doors open at 5 p.m., and games begin at 6. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. There will be light lunch.

CRAFT SHOWS

Vendors are needed for the 24th Annual Arts & Crafts in the Park, to take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 25 at Centennial Park, East Pershing Street, Salem. Setup is at 7 a.m., rain or shine. A 20-by-20-foot space costs $25. Take your own tables and chairs, or they will be supplied for $35. Tents will be allowed, but no electricity is available. South Range Middle School PTO, 11300 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Canfield, will have a craft show and rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be a 50-50 drawing. Admission is free.

Sharpsville Elementary PTO will have a craft show and basket auction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16 at the school, 100 Hittle Drive, Sharpsville, Pa. Admission is $1. Lunch and snacks will be available.

DANCES

Shenango Valley Corvette Club will have a spring classic dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1814 state Route 7 NE, Brookfield. Doors open at 7, and there will be a basket auction, a snack and finger food buffet and an open bar. Attendees must be 21 or older. St. Rose School Home and School will have a Ten Minute Winner Dinner Dance from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown. Tickets are $50 each. FUNDRAISERS

Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society will have a fundraising bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 23 at Walgreens, corner of Route 46 and Mahoning Avenue, Austintown. Baked goods will include Easter items. Also featured will be hot dogs and T-shirts for sale. All proceeds will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

RAFFLES

The Shrine of Our Lady, comforter of the Afflicted, 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, is selling tickets for a raffle for two food baskets, each containing a ham and all the trimmings for an Easter meal, plus many other food items and gifts. The drawing will take place on April 17 after the noon Mass. Winners need not be present. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

SALES

Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, will host a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Donations of sale items will be accepted from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., will have its spring trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4 and May 5, which is bargain-bag day.

Brookfield United Methodist Church,6951 Grove St., will have a rummage sale from 4 to 8 p.m. April 14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 15, and 9 a.m. to noon April 16. Lunch will be available. Drop-off dates are noon Sunday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. April 11 to 13.

First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard, 22 Westview Ave., will have a Bead for Life sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The jewelry is handmade from colorful recycled paper. Proceeds will help African women leave poverty behind. For more information call the church at 330-534-9721.

New Springfield Church of God, 3649 E. Garfield Road, will have a rummage sale from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday (food available); from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday (lunch available and half-price on rummage only); and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday ($1-per-bag day). The sale is sponsored by the Women of the Church of God.

Pricetown United Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will be having a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday (bag day). Also featured will be a bake sale the first two days.

Southington United Methodist Church Day Circle, routes 305 and 534, will have a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13. Lunch of homemade bean soup, sandwiches, drinks, and desserts will be served. Carryouts are available. Bag day will be April 14 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Springtime at the Gardens, an annual plant sale and vendors market, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 8 at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland. The event is for the Ohio State University Trumbull County Master Gardeners. Cost for table space under a large tent is $45, but vendors can set up their own canopy or tent for $25. Struthers Presbyterian Church will host a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16 at 110 Poland Ave., Struthers. A huge variety of items will be for sale, and a bake sale, light lunch and bucket auction will be available. Drawings will take place at the end of the sale, and ticketholders do not need to be present. Proceeds go toward the church’s elevator fund and the youth mission trip.

Trumbull County Travel Club is sponsoring a trip to five wineries in Ashtabula County on April 16 for anyone over 21. The tour will include samplings and breakfast at Grand Rivers, lunch and wines at Laurello’s Vineyards, ice wines for dessert at Furrante’s, a stop at Springhill Winery for a tasting tour and cheese and crackers, and a full wine taste and buffet supper at Dimerin’s.
