St. John’s will host Russian Easterfest

St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 301 Struthers-Liberty Road, will host Russian Easterfest from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Campbell “O” Club is sponsoring the celebration.

Among the features will be a dine-in Lenten buffet, along with a wide array of ethnic foods such as blini, borscht, stuffed cabbage and haluski. Baked goods include strudel, kolachi, Easter bread (paska) and cookie trays.

Also for sale will be homemade candy, Easter gift items, spring crafts, pysanky eggs and a pysanky demonstration.
