Crash in Columbiana County injures three

Police still have not released the names of three people injured in a one-car accident Saturday night.

According to an Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesman, the car containing three people was traveling south on state Route 45 late Saturday evening when the driver of the car drove off the side of the road and hit a telephone pole.

The driver of the car and one passenger were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment. Another passenger was taken to Salem Community Hospital for treatment.

There was no information available Sunday night on the cause of the accident, and police have no information on the condition of those in the vehicle. Police are investigating.
