Angels for Animals will host breakfast
CANFIELD
Angels for Animals will host an “April Showers of Pancakes” breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 9 at Andrews Hall, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield.
The all-you-can-eat pancakes will be served with bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, coffee, orange juice and milk. The cost is $7 for adults and free for children under 6. Belgian waffles will be available for an additional $2.
Proceeds will benefit the Angels’ low-cost spay-neuter programs and adoption center. For more information call 330-549-1111.
A puzzling design

Covelli Enterprises and Panera Bread are joining the Rich Center for Autism during Autism Awareness month to conduct a cookie sale to raise funds for programs at the center.
The sale will be conducted through Friday and will feature the “Pieces of Hope Cookie,” designed specially for the sale by Panera Bread in the shape of a puzzle piece that represents the symbol for autism nationwide. In addition to donating all the proceeds from the sale to the center, Panera Bread will collect money in canisters at the registers in all its local caf s throughout April to raise additional funds for the center.
Wine-tasting event

A Relay For Life of Poland team will raise a glass to toast cancer survivors and their caregivers.
A wine tasting will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. April 9 at L’uva Bella Winery, 6597 Center Road. The cost is $35 per person and includes a minimum of five wine selections, hors d’oeuvres and gourmet pizza.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Poland. Tickets are available in advance at Hannah’s Closet, 47 W. McKinley Way in Poland, until Wednesday.
Egg decorating class
NEW CASTLE, PA.
The Polish Central Committee is sponsoring a “Pisanki i Skrobanki,” egg decorating and palm weaving workshop, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 9 at Holy Trinity Parish Hall, 1708 S. Jefferson St.

Spaghetti dinner set at Saxon Club

The Pavilion Room at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, will be the setting from 1 to 4 p.m. April 9 for a spaghetti dinner planned as a benefit for Laura Adams, who is battling acute myeloid leukemia. The donation will be $10.
The pasta and meatball dinner includes salad, bread and dessert. Pop, water and coffee will be available. Also available will be carryouts, a basket auction and a 50-50 raffle. For more information contact 330-270-1459.
Rotary sets breakfast

Canfield Rotary Club will host its 46th annual pancake breakfast April 10 at Canfield High School Cafeteria.
All-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee and milk will be available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a donation of $6.
Raffle tickets will be available for $20 to be entered to win a Chevrolet Cruze on Sept. 5 during the Canfield Fair with proceeds to benefit Hospice of the Valley and Canfield Rotary community projects.
