Man killed in apparent Pa. hit-and-run

MCKEESPORT, Pa. (AP) — Police say a man is dead after an apparent hit-and-run crash in western Pennsylvania.

Authorities responded to the scene around 3 a.m. in McKeesport, near Pittsburgh. They found a man who had apparently been struck by a vehicle that didn’t stop.

The unidentified man was declared dead at the scene.

Police say surveillance footage is available from a nearby business. They say a maroon SUV or van with front-end damage was seen in the area.
