Iowa man's body found on Pa. highway
BARNESVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania State Police say a man whose body was found near a highway interchange last month has been identified.
Police say 46-year-old Robert Louis Coy was found dead March 19 near an Interstate 81 interchange in Schuylkill County.
Investigators say Coy was a transient whose last known address was in Iowa. His severely decomposed body was found near where authorities believe he had set up a temporary residence.
Coroner Joseph Lipsett tells the Pottsville Republican and Herald that Coy’s name was written in one of his shoes.
The cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
