Domestic violence event planned

Someplace Safe, Inc. will host its annual Unity Day observance at 6 p.m. Monday at Trumbull County Courthouse Square, where victims of domestic violence will be remembered and survivors will be celebrated.

This year’s theme will be “Love Doesn’t Have to Hurt.” The guest speaker will be State Rep. Sandra Stabile-Harwood.

In addition to the candlelight ceremony, a voluntary community vow will be introduced. Those who would like to volunteer to assist in Unity Day preparations or for more information, contact Someplace Safe at 330-393-3003.
