Author to appear at library program

YOUNGSTOWN

The Public Library of Youngs-town and Mahoning County, 305 Wick Ave., will be closed all day Thursday as it prepares to welcome New York Times best-selling author Lisa Scottoline for a 6:30 p.m. program.

The appearance of the author of 17 novels, including her latest, “Think Twice,” is being sponsored by the library’s Literary Society.

Admission is $55, and reservations for the event can be made by contacting the library’s development office at 330-744-8636, ext. 51630.
