EAST PALESTINE

Andy Lacefield scored three goals for the Raiders (8-3-1) while Jordan Baker and Aaron Beabout had one each. Baker made two assists while Andrew O’Leary and Tyler Ausnehmer had one apiece. Goalkeeper Isaac Schuster made three saves. Cody Stewart was the goalkeeper for East Palestine.

Ursuline 3, Grand River Academy 1

YOUNGSTOWN

Kevin Kablan, Brandon Kays and Jesse Huber scored goals for the Irish (5-4-1). Mike Vanes, Doug Woodford and Amrit Khooblall had assists while goalkeeper Zack Freer made five saves. For Grand River Academy (5-5-1), Cedric Roturena scored on an assist by Nick Wang. Brian Shea made 11 saves.

GIRLS

Boardman 1, Poland 1

BOARDMAN

Poland’s Anna Barnhart scored midway through the first half and Boardman’s Heather Hughes tied it in the closing minutes of the half off an assist from Missy DeMarinis. Teryn Ross made 11 saves for the Spartans (6-3-1), while Abby Frank had 10 saves for the Bulldogs (6-2-2).

JV: Poland, 4-1.

South Range 3, Springfield 1

GREENFORD

Katelin Smith scored three goals as the Raiders clinched their first Inter Tri-County League Tier One title. Bre Gwirtz had an assist. Smith scored her second goal on a breakaway and her third with a penalty kick. Goalkeeper Kristin Robinson made saves. For the Tigers, goalkeepers Kayla Weaver and Jill Tabaka combined for five saves.

Lakeview 8, Struthers 0

STRUTHERS

Allison Pavlik scored three goals while Nicole Moldovan netted two for the Bulldogs (9-2, 6-0 All-American Conference White Tier). Also scoring were Ali Gagne, Lindsey Clark and Megan Goedeker. Gagne, Moldovan and Shelby Rob had assists. Goalkeepers Moldovan and Casey Boldt combined on the two-save shutout. For the Wildcats (0-8, 0-5), Katie Jordan made 20 saves.

Salem 2, Hubbard 1

HUBBARD

Peyton Meals and Abi Pasco scored goals for the Quakers. Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Klem made four saves. For the Eagles (5-6), Emily Skebo scored on an assist by Melissa Thomas. Goalkeeper Barbara Tritt made 15 saves.

Newton Falls 3, LaBrae 2

LEAVITTSBURG

Jennifer Bjelac scored the game-winner with two minutes left to help Newton Falls rally from a 2-1 deficit. Rachel Ellis and Brooke Rodgers also scored for the Tigers, who trailed with about six minutes left. Angela Guiliano had an assist and Stephanie Mussle made six saves for Falls (9-2-1, 4-1 AAC Blue), who will meet league unbeaten Champion next Monday. Gabby Borawiec scored twice for LaBrae (4-5-1, 2-4) and Kelsey Daniel made 12 saves.

Nicole Ritchey and Anna Hardenbrook scored for the Rebels. Brittney Brent had an assist.

West Branch 2, Warren JFK 1

BELOIT

Dottie Schlueter and Niki Carlton each scored one goal for West Branch (5-4-2), while Sierra Woolf made eight saves. Toni Dickinson and Brandi Snyder each had assists. Kelsey Case made 10 saves for JFK. Kelli Guarnieri scored for the Eagles (8-3-1) and Adrian Ashdown had the assist.
