YSU football vaults to No. 20 in coaches poll

Youngstown State’s 31-28 victory over Southern Illinois on Saturday has created some buzz around the nation.

The Penguins (3-1), who barely rated a mention in last week’s Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) coaches poll, vaulted up to No. 20 in this week’s poll, released on Monday.

YSU also made its first appearance in The Sports Network/Fathead.com poll, at No. 22.
