Wolves Club Den VI seats slate of officers

Chelsey Santucci, a funeral director and member of several community organizations, was installed as president of the Wolves Club Den VI of Youngstown during a recent meeting.

Inducted as his associate officers were Gregory Malito, president-elect; Dr. Frank Tarantine, treasurer; Dr. Peter Chila, secretary; Gennaro Ricciardi and Daniel P. Schiavone Jr,, members of the board of directors; and David DiGiacomo, scholarship committee.

More than $25,000 was raised by the club during the past year, which will be used primarily for its scholarship programs. The scholarship donations for the 2010-2011 academic year totaled $40,000 for Youngstown State University and $3,000 for St. Elizabeth School of Nursing.

Since receiving its charter in 1953, the local den has contributed more than $700,000 for scholarships and various community projects.

Den VI also was the co-host for the 2010 National Association of Wolves Convention in Youngstown.
