The Original Visiting Nurse Association of Youngstown will have a flu-vaccination clinic at Clear Channel Radio, 7461 South Ave., from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. No appointment is necessary. Cost is $20, and Medicare and Anthem Senior Advantage are accepted. Pneumonia vaccine also will be available for $45; Medicare will be accepted.Children age 9 and older may receive the flu vaccine if they have an order from their physician. Unity Day in Warren

Someplace Safe will celebrate Unity Day at 6 p.m. Oct. 4 in Courthouse Square as a way to remember and honor domestic-violence victims and celebrate survivors. Speaker will be state Rep. Sandra Stabile-Harwood of Niles, D-65th, author of House Bill 19, which made teen- dating-violence education mandatory to all students in Ohio schools in grades 7-12.
