‘Artists by the River” event Sunday in Youngstown

The Altrusa Club of Youngstown will sponsor “Artists by the River” at the B&O Station, 350 mahoning Ave., from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The event features the Artists of the Rust Belt with music from Chris Castle and The Family Womack Band. Beer, wine and food vendors will be on site. Items from the artists will be auctioned.

A $5 donation benefits the Fifth annual Youngstown Area Book Festival. “Plant the Seed to Read” will be March 26, 2011, at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitors Center on the grounds of Mill Creek MetroParks. For information contact the B&O Station at 330-480-9859.
