Strickland’s ‘Fight for Ohio’ tour to stop in Youngstown for rally Monday

YOUNGSTOWN

Gov. Ted Strickland and lieutenant governor candidate Yvette McGee Brown will make a stop at Youngstown State University Monday.

The two are joining Democratic statewide candidates on a “Fight for Ohio” bus tour.

A rally open to the public is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Chestnut Room in Kilcawley Center.

Brown is also scheduled to attend a “community congress” at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 W. Front St. in Youngstown. That event is sponsored by the Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative as part of its nonpartisan electoral efforts.
