Motorcycle fatality

NEW CASTLE, PA.

A 19-year-old woman died early Saturday after a motorcycle crash. Police said Sabre Ann Patterson of Ellwood City, Pa., was thrown from a motorcycle after the driver, Justin Neil Eidemiller, 21, also of Ellwood City, lost control and hit a guardrail on state Route 65 in Wayne Township. The crash occurred about 1:30 a.m.

Eidemiller was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with moderate injuries. Both Patterson and Eidemiller were wearing helmets.

Walters sought

WARREN

Police are still searching for a suspect in a Friday afternoon shooting. Authorities are looking for Wallace Walters, 28, of Warren, who is described as a 5-foot-11-inch black man, weighing 180 pounds with a medium build.

The shooting happened about 2 p.m. at Niles Road and Milton Street. Two men were arguing, and one man was shot. The wounded man was taken to the hospital. As of Saturday afternoon, police still were not releasing his name.
