Kevin Williams and Heather Hackney were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. May 29 at Bexley United Methodist Church. The groom’s uncle, the Rev. Jeff Schoch, officiated at the ceremony.
The bride, a daughter of Mike and Nancy Hackney of Hilliard, and the groom, a son of Bob and Brenda Williams of Canfield, received congratulations during a reception at the Columbus Athenaeum theater in downtown Columbus. They live in Pickerington.
The bride’s strapless A-line satin gown featured a pleated bodice with a beaded band at the empire waistline and a chapel train.
Ocean blue knee-length gowns were worn by Corey Coughlin, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Melissa Hackney and Jennifer Hackney, sisters of the bride; Meredith Goodrich; Stefany Phan; and the groom’s sisters, Kelly Williams and Katie Williams.
Conor Keating performed the duties of best man, and serving as groomsmen were Jason Bolchalk, Bill DiFrangia, Dan Fowler, Brett Gordon, and the bride’s brother, Ryan Hackney.
Mrs. Williams is a licensed practical nurse at two nursing and skilled rehabilitation centers, The Laurels of Worthington and Mayfair Village. She is attending Ohio University, where she will graduate in March 2011 as a registered nurse.
The groom graduated from Bowling Green University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting. He is an accountant with Mast financial reporting at Limited Brands in Columbus.
The couple postponed their wedding trip to Hawaii until the spring of 2011.
