Guests congratulate the Sunderlins on 50th anniversary

Invited guests joined family members in North Jackson on Sept. 18 to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Donald P. Sunderlin of Boardman as the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the festivity were their daughters, Dina M. Sunderlin of Miami, and Beverly A. Leonelli of Youngstown, and the couple’s grandchildren, Joseph and Rachel.

St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church in Youngstown, where they are members, was the setting on Sept. 17, 1960, as the former Shirley A. Galip and Mr. Sunderlin were united in marriage.

Mrs. Sunderlin, a bookkeeper for Dr. Robert C. Spratt in Youngstown, is a member of the St. George’s Club.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Sunderlin retired as a manager with the J. B. Winkle Co. in Canfield.
