Teen female rider killed in motorcycle crash

NEW CASTLE

A 19-year-old woman died early Saturday morning after a motorcycle crash.

Police said Sabre Ann Patterson of Ellwood City was thrown from a motorcycle after the driver, Justin Neil Eidemiller, 21 of Ellwood City, lost control and hit a guard rail on state Route 65 in Wayne Township. The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m.

Eidemiller was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for moderate injuries. Both Patterson and Eidemiller were wearing helmets.
