SCSEP program schedules events

YOUNGSTOWN

The Senior Employment Center, 5500 Market St., Suite 110, has scheduled orientation for the SCSEP Program (Senior Community Service Employment Program) at the office for 1:30 p.m. each Wednesday. Appointments are required.

Workshops for the Job Club are scheduled for 10 a.m. the first and third Thursday of each month at the Mahoning County One Stop, 149 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. Interested participants must be registered with One Stop to attend.

The SCSEP program provides paid hands-on part-time training for older workers through community placements.

The Job Club offers guidance and training through an in-depth program designed to help those re-entering the work force to develop updated resumes and interviewing skills.
