Police say at least two men and a woman were running naked and jumping on cars on Devine Street early Thursday.
An Alliance man and another man and woman from Sebring were arrested about 1:30 a.m. Thursday on misdemeanor charges. The Repository typically does not identify misdemeanor crime suspects.
Police initially were called to the 700 block of Devine, where two men reportedly were running naked around the neighborhood, Stark County Jail records said.
Instead, police first spotted two women running into a home. One was nude.
By the time police were able to talk to her, the 25-year-old Sebring woman was dressed, the jail records said, adding that she told them she didn’t know the men.
The jail records said the officers later learned the men had been in the house with her.
She was “extremely intoxicated, was yelling obscenities and being loud” outdoors, despite an audience of neighbors, according to police records. Police arrested her and booked her into the jail on misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and disorderly conduct.
As officers arrested her, other officers saw the men.
A 27-year-old Belleflower Avenue man, also described as intoxicated, was seen running “completely naked” and “recklessly” through the neighborhood, the jail records said. The records said he also was seen walking on top of another woman’s car “and smashing the roof down.”
He was arrested in the 700 block of Devine and booked into the jail on charges of resisting arrest, criminal damaging and endangering, disorderly conduct and public indecency.
A 25-year-old Sebring man was found a block away in the 700 block of Ohio Street, also nude and running atop parked cars, the jail records said. He was accused of having damaged at least one of them in the 800 block of Devine.
Jail records said he ran from police, jumped a wooden privacy fence and ran into a detached garage.
Police arrested him there.
He was booked into the jail on charges of resisting arrest, criminal damaging, criminal and aggravated trespassing, public indecency and disorderly conduct.
All three have since been released from the jail, pending hearings in Alliance Municipal Court, jail records said.
